About Carlos’ Flat Fixed

Located at 503 W 45th St, New York, NY 10036, Carlos’ Flat Fixed operates as a tire shop serving New York in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as used tire shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement. Wheel and rim shops repair bent or curb-scraped wheels, refinish them and sell aftermarket sets. Seasonal demand peaks before winter in the northern states and before summer road trips everywhere.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Carlos’ Flat Fixed at (212) 765-1280; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 673 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for tire shops in New York. Recent reviews are the best guide.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Carlos and his team helped my father with a flat tire — they were quick and reasonably priced. There was a slight misunderstanding at one point, but Carlos was patient in sorting it out and never made us feel like a bother. Grateful for their help and happy to recommend them. Thank you Carlos and team! :)

“Big scam” - Alert Be careful and always get a second opinion before buying a tire here. I came in with a simple tire leak and was told the tire was not repairable and that I needed to buy a new tire for about $250. Instead, I went to another tire shop in Astoria. They inspected the same tire, repaired the leak, and confirmed the tire was still in good condition.

Thank you soooo much for helping us today. After a long horrible day trying to find someone to fix my flat, broken tire you and your team helped me out and tried really hard to get it fixed. You were very hospitable tonme and my mother. (Even offered us coffee) And you even helped us get a trustworthy tow truck driver to get us home safe. Thank you so much! May the blessings continue to overflow for you and your team. GRACIAS!! The Jersey ladies!
